SUMMARY

Five oak building timbers were commissioned for dendrochronological analysis from Church Cottage, Avon Dassett, Warwickshire (SP40914990). Two timbers were independently dated from the site before forming a 69-year site mean chronology (AVONDAS) spanning AD 1682 - AD 1744. A felling date of AD 1744 - AD 1774 derived from two roof timbers is presented.
